Weird combination isn't it? Anyways, we dominated IMs Tuesday winning all the football and soccer games which should put us in first or second! Plus I took baby pictures for YDN, my first front page story! Or you can check out my favorite on my photoblog. Till later! I hope to have another lengthy Yale information post on Friday so stay tuned for that!

The Darq Knight

Darq Knight the musical was a huge success. I have a couple posts about it that you can check out here.

Also check out IvyGate's story on the musical!!!

A little viral ad I made for the Darq Knight, the musical. Should be a pretty incredible show.

So after the football game this weekend I am pleased to present some pictures from the game against Holy Cross, perhaps not as awesome as last weeks, but fun nonetheless. I find that football is the most effective way to get published in the paper too, as of now, 10 pictures from last game have been in the paper over the course of the last two weeks. In addition, I posted a new picture from creation of the world on the photo blog. So check that out.

Very odd weekend, but on to another week of work!

Learning to Type

10/01/08 | by Comp615 [mail] | Categories: Technology

So I decided that I should probably learn to type today. It isn't working all that well so far but I think that a little practice should do the trick. As I looked for a program to use I came across something called the Dvorak Keyboard Layout. It turns out that it's much more efficient than the other keyboards as more of the stuff you use resides on the home keys. Check out this site to compare what typing out War of the Worlds would take on various keyboard layouts. It's shows that the new layout requires much less finger movement and more of the letters are on the home keys. So maybe I'll just skip qwerty and give that one a try. Anyways, interesting piece of information I thought I'd share with you as I struggle with learning to type.
