First and foremost, there's a new picture on the photoblog. A nice portrait shot of one of the VQ cuties.

Moving on, I have created my first theorem of my college career. Through it, Croom's constant is derived. Of course theorems don't make constants, but it sounded cool. This constant promises to revolutionize the way we view modern society and architecture for generations to come. Interested? Good...Read on...

What an interesting title! What do these three things have in common? Oh they were all in our first on-campus improv show! Yes that's right, our first show was a huge success; we packed a full-house. I played in three games, Commercials, Oracle and Pantheon in addition to introing Circle of Death. Unfortunately there was no video of the show, but I'll give you a quick rundown!

Now that I finally have some time on my hands again, I thought I'd get back to what blogging is really about. Random things! Various Things

10/22/08 | by Comp615 [mail] | Categories: College, Improv Comedy, Theater, Classes

Really a variety of things going on this week in my life:

  1. Mid-terms are finally over, and I believe that I am going to pass all my classes which is fantastic.
  2. I am going to be Assistant Master Electrician on The Full Monty production here (Dramat fall mainstage)
  3. I somehow ended up being the Lighting Designer for a spring production of Equus in OBT...more on that later
  4. We have another Improv show this Friday...first on campus show. So hope that goes well!
  5. And of course, with Parents Weekend coming, this weekend will be very busy! (Football pictures soon!!!!)
  6. Speaking of pictures, buzz about Darq Knight is finally making it's way around the web. See my last post for more
  7. Finally, there is a new HDR picture up on my photoblog, I forgot to check settings before I shot, so not perfect but hope you like it nonetheless...10 pictures total so far!

As far as Equus goes, I don't actually know what the play is about other than Horse Gods...weird. But it's in the OBT which is the smallest legitimate theater, so I am hoping that I'll be able to handle it. Nervous and excited for all of this!

Darq Knight wrap-up from IvyGate

Nationally read IvyGate Blog posts news from around the Ivy League schools. They just put up a story (with pictures!!!) about the Darq Knight at Yale. The response to the show was huge on campus, truly something unique. Video was shot Saturday, so perhaps there will be a trailer sometime from the Darq Knight. But other than that, farewell to a very special work of art at Yale.

EDIT: There have been two more stories put up on other blogs here and here...yay for pictures!!!
